Reports
Assessment of children is continual and on going with formal reporting to parents taking place in December and June. A Parent Information Evening for each class is held early in Term One (around Week 3) for teachers to provide parents with an overview of the year and goals they wish to achieve.
Student Led Conferences
Student Led Conferences are held in Term Three for students to showcase their learning to parents. We also encourage parents to regularly communicate with teachers on an informal basis (before/after school) to discuss class activities and pupil progress. It is always beneficial to arrange an appointment at a mutually convenient time for valid discussion about your child as social gatherings can be an awkward setting to discuss any issues.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Special purpose curriculum or information nights may be held regularly to ensure parents are well informed of current educational trends, decisions and practices at I.S.B
